Digital Arts Consulting launches log and PC investigation service after cyber risk notification.

In an enterprise environment where advanced cyber security measures are required, Digital Arts Consulting, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tadao Matsumoto; hereafter "Digital Arts Consulting"), a CISO service (security consulting service) provider, will start offering the "D-Alert Quick-IR Option" on February 3^rd. Digital Arts Consulting will conduct an investigation for PCs for the customers using the products from Digital Arts when "D-Alert " happens, which is a cyber risk information service provided by Digital Arts Corporation (headquartered in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Toshio Dogu, President & CEO; hereinafter "Digital Arts"; Securities Code 2326), a member of the Digital Arts Group.

Launched incident response service after receiving "D-Alert" notifying of cyber risks

Digital Arts Consulting will provide basic services required in the event of a D-Alert for a monthly fee. The three basic services include log investigation for "i-FILTER" and "m-FILTER", PC investigation, and advisory services. This enables customers using "i-FILTER" and "m-FILTER" to use a SOC (Security Operation Center) and IR (Incident Response) system as a service, which is usually difficult for small and medium-sized enterprises to have on their own. Furthermore, by requesting additional support as needed, unnecessary costs can be reduced.

Digital Arts provides D-Alert, a cyber risk information service. D-Alert is a free information provision service. Using the functions of Digital Arts' i-FILTER web security product and m-FILTER mail security product, D-Alert notifies our customers suspected of malware infection as well as our non-customers of malware infection information and website defacement information. Since many customers who use Digital Arts products are concerned about what action to take after receiving a D-Alert, Digital Arts Consulting has developed a monthly service called "D-Alert Quick-IR Option," a monthly service that supports necessary responses such as PC investigations after receiving a D-Alert.

Specifically, first, the logs of "i-FILTER" and "m-FILTER" will be investigated to check for the possibility of malware infection and information leakage. Next, we will conduct a PC investigation to check for the possibility of malware infection and information leakage by examining the logs of the PCs subject to the D-Alert. The investigation will be conducted on up to three PCs for a maximum of one day. Finally, an advisory on "i-FILTER" and "m-FILTER" and measures considered necessary in addition to the PC investigation will be provided. These advisories are for general environments. We will report the results of our response within one business day at the earliest during our business hours after receiving a request for investigation.

In addition, advisory services tailored to each customer's unique environment are available as a separate fee-based service. For customers who require more detailed investigation and analysis, we offer "Add-on Services." This service can identify malware infection and information leakage with a high degree of accuracy by forensically examining PCs, analyzing malware, and investigating existing devices such as UTM (Unified Threat Management) in the customer's environment. Estimates are provided on a case-by-case basis.
