Easier" security measures -
Digital Arts Consulting, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tadao Matsumoto; hereinafter "Digital Arts Consulting"), which provides CISO services (security consulting services) in enterprise environments where advanced cyber security measures are required, has announced the launch of "i-FILTER@Cloud," a web security cloud service from Digital Arts, Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Tadao Matsumoto; hereinafter "Digital Arts Consulting"), a CISO service (security consulting service), has launched a new service "QuickStart for i-FILTER@Cloud" to support the introduction of the "i-FILTER@Cloud" web security cloud service of Digital Arts Corporation (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Toshio Tool; hereinafter "Digital Arts"; Securities code: 2326), a group company of Digital Arts, Inc. (hereafter, Digital Arts; Securities Code: 2326), a new service to support the introduction of the "i-FILTER@Cloud" web security service, will be available from September 1, 2012.
The rapid spread of teleworking has led to the use of cloud services in work environments and systems, increasing the need for cloud operations in security measures. Meanwhile, cyber-attacks continue to increase worldwide*2, and domestic companies are also the target of attacks, regardless of industry or size.
Information security manufacturer Digital Arts offers "i-FILTER" Ver. 10, a web security product that blocks malicious URLs and malware downloads used in cyber attacks, and "i-FILTER@Cloud," a cloud service for the same product. We have built a unique filtering database that collects and categorizes all URLs in Japan, and through a system that only allows access to URLs that have been certified as safe ("white operation"), we can protect our customers from unknown threats. "i-FILTER@Cloud" is used by many companies as a cloud product that provides robust security measures for telework environments and portable terminals.
The conventional "white list" operation, which allows access only to safe URLs, provides strong security, but has problems in actual operation, such as frequent cases of not being able to access URLs necessary for business operations. In contrast, Digital Arts' "White Operations" can be optimized to maintain the strong security level of the "White List" while not reducing customers' operational efficiency by utilizing the rich cloud proxy functions of "i-FILTER@Cloud". However, since this requires time and expertise in security operations, we have received requests for support in introducing "i-FILTER@Cloud" from customers such as small and medium-sized enterprises with limited resources for IT and security operations.
Under these circumstances, Digital Arts Consulting has decided to provide "QuickStart for i-FILTER@Cloud," an introduction support service, in order to optimize the security measures of "i-FILTER@Cloud" for more customers and make it easier to introduce the service. The new service is designed to help customers optimize and easily introduce "i-FILTER@Cloud" security measures. We will provide introduction support so that customers can start using i-FILTER@Cloud immediately by setting up servers, creating users, and configuring security settings, etc., which are conventionally done by customers, minimum three business days with recommended settings suitable for their business, and which are usually required. Digital Arts Consulting has extensive knowledge of cyber security and has proposed security operations that support customer businesses. With this knowledge, we will maximize the "white operation" of "i-FILTER@Cloud" and provide it as a recommended setting suitable for your business while maintaining the security level required for your business.
Specifically, in addition to user creation, URL filtering and content filtering are each configured and created according to up to five filter groups. We also offer Web service control settings that apply controls according to detailed business needs, such as "only allow PR staff to access SNS," as well as explanatory meetings for administrators to explain basic operation methods.
The new service will be available for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with less than 300 licenses.
Digital Arts Consulting will configure the server settings required for "i-FILTER@Cloud" on behalf of the customer.
Customers can use "i-FILTER@Cloud" with confidence with the recommended settings without wondering how to use the rich functions of "i-FILTER@Cloud."
All work will be performed remotely.
Digital Arts Consulting will combine this introduction support service with its existing services, aiming to strengthen security in corporate systems, which will become increasingly important in the future, and to propose an optimal management environment through the use of ICT.
*1 The required server setup period will begin after the i-FILTER@Cloud license is issued and the hearing sheet filled out by the customer is confirmed to be complete. The period from the "i-FILTER@Cloud" application to the issuance of the license is not included.
*2 According to the "NICTER Observation Report 2020" (released on February 16, 2021) by the National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT), the number of cyber attack-related communications observed by the NICTER Project's large-scale cyber attack observation network in 2020 will be approximately 500.1 billion packets (per year), which is approximately 3,000 million packets per year compared to 2019. compared to about 322 billion packets in 2019, with a similar upward trend from 2019.
